We have a 3-tiered installation service so you can choose the package that works best for you, or we can deliver your products if you would prefer to arrange installation yourself.

Our sliding sash windows combine the best materials, craftsmanship and the latest technological advances to create windows and doors to any specification.

Elegant designs are fitted with modern thermal insulation and draft proofing to keep your home looking great and feeling cosy. Choose from standard double glazing, heritage double glazing, triple glazing or talk to us about our full range of options.

We use sustainable timber and environmentally-friendly processes to minimise our impact on the natural environment, including water-based paints, which significantly reduces emissions and is better for the environment than solvents. Water-based paint also allows timber to breathe and adapt to changes in the climate. This provides the best possible protection against weather, fungal attack and UV degradation.

All timber windows and doors are designed and made from our Bradford site, where we supply homeowners, architects, tradespeople, construction firms and more throughout the UK.

We’re a traditional joinery company with foundations that date back to the 19^th century. We pride ourselves on bringing unrivalled experience and expertise to the wood windows and doors market every day. 

Patchett Joinery has been in the family for 6 generations and our employees are our most important asset. We encourage career development with apprenticeships and regular training for shop floor and office staff. Many of our team of 30 have been with us for their entire working life.

Our showroom is nestled within our manufacturing site in Bradford, West Yorkshire, where we’ve been crafting with timber for more than 175 years. Browse our products and discuss hardware, glazing and colour options, and choose your wood finish. Our team of experts are on hand if you need advice or assistance. We have a comfortable seating area where you can have a chat and discuss your project, no matter how big or small.

If you’re interested in a peek behind the scenes, join us for a factory tour. The hour-long tour takes visitors through the process of timber selection and preparation, moulding of profiles, frame and sash assembly, through to painting, glazing, hand finishing and packing for delivery.

Production

Creating a wide range of high-quality windows, frames and doors

We produce all our windows, frames and doors from our 3-acre site using local talent and skills. 

Send us an enquiry to arrange a meeting with one of our team of experts. We’ll discuss your project and requirements carefully. Every project is different, so it’s important to give us a good understanding of exactly what you need.

We’ll then take measurements on-site or from working drawings and our pre-production team will create a design. We’ll offer expert advice if we think we can improve or enhance your project to make sure you have the best possible outcome.

We will produce a quote with drawings, including sizings and your choice of glazing, ironmongery and finish, and send it to you for discussion. We can check the project conforms with relevant building regulations and planning requirements, and when you’re completely satisfied with all the details we will proceed.

We can deliver your windows, frames and doors to a designated address and fit them for you too. You can be confident that there will always be a dedicated manager overseeing your project from end-to-end to make sure everything runs smoothly.

We understand the importance of sustainability to ensure we reduce the impact of our industry on the natural world.

We also support the UK Government’s initiative to reduce carbon emissions from residential and commercial properties. In our Green Commitment Policy, we’ve set out our responsibility to ensure manufacturing processes are as eco-friendly as possible and that raw materials are sustainable.

Our timber is sourced from suppliers registered with the FSC and PEFC, organisations that ensure wood is harvested from sustainable forests with consideration for people, wildlife and the environment.

We only use state-of-the-art machinery that meets energy efficiency standards and we always look for ways to keep carbon emissions as low as possible.
