The Patchett Joinery timber heritage flush casement window was developed to provide the same sleek look as a flush casement but with traditional butt hinges and peg stays. The slimmer profile means that it replicates the original look of single-glazed windows in historic buildings with double-glazing. Heritage flush casement windows are a great practical choice and also let in more natural light.

How do heritage flush casement windows work?

The defining feature of the flush casement window is that the window sashes (the opening part of the window that holds the glass) sit flush in the window frame when closed. Using only a water-based painting system which allows timber to “breathe” and adapt to climatic changes, our finishes provide maximum protection against weathering, fungal attack and UV degradation. The water-based application significantly reduces harmful emissions and disposal issues associated with solvent based systems.

Working with our paint partner, Sikkens, we can finish in any RAL colour, stain, or match against all well known paint ranges and brands. With the ability to have different internal and external finishes, your windows and doors can be finished just as you require.
