The fashionable spa town has a plethora of fabulous Victorian villas and this one is a prime example of the period.
The house has a combination of sliding sash windows and casement windows.
We used our heritage flush casements as it was important to our customer to match the slim frame size without compromising on the glass area and therefore maintaining the amount of natural light inside the property. Our heritage flush casements also have traditional butt hinges, and the hardware includes peg stays, another traditional feature.
We manufactured the windows from Accoya timber ensuring the replacement windows will be good for another 100 years. The thermal capacity of the glass ensures maximum efficiency.
Our customer tells us the windows have performed extremely well over the first winter. The house was much warmer with the added benefit of not having to mop up condensation from the window cills continuously.
