Timber windows and doors by Patchett Joinery

To complement the stone, brick and render finishes of the properties on our development at Hill Top Farm in Gawber we have selected a range of timber windows and doors which are being supplied by Patchett Joinery in Bradford. We’ve chosen to use timber rather than uPVC as they are both environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing and, contrary to popular opinion, require minimum maintenance to stay looking good.

Patchett Joinery have been making timber products in West Yorkshire since 1840. They’re a family run firm which now specialises in producing top quality timber windows and doors. However, the company started life in the mid 19th century as a general joinery firm, making basically anything their customers needed, from desks and doors, to carts for their horses and coffins for their deceased. In 2011, they made the decision to specialise in producing windows and doors and it’s proved to be an excellent move.

The company’s main focus is on manufacturing products that reach the very highest of specifications. With over 170 years’ experience in the timber manufacturing industry, they have considerable experience and expertise which they use to great effect, blending their skills and insight with the latest technological advances to create premium products that will not only look superb in situ, but will stand the test of time. Building on their 19th century foundations as a reputable and reliable traditional carpentry company, Patchett Joinery combine the carefully-honed skills of their timber craftsmen with the latest automated machinery to ensure that their products will meet the needs of even the most demanding customer.

Committed to producing an environmentally friendly product

As a business, Patchett Joinery has an excellent understanding of the impact their work could have on the natural environment, and so they work hard to ensure that they implement sustainable working wherever practicable. They not only support the government’s initiative to reduce carbon emissions, but they have put together a Green Commitment Policy which clearly outlines their responsibilities and ensures that all their manufacturing processes are eco-friendly. All their raw materials come from sustainable sources, and their state-of-the-art machinery meets current energy efficiency standards. They also do everything they can to ensure that they keep their carbon emissions as low as possible and are constantly seeking new ways to improve this.
