Patchett Joinery were enlisted to supply timber windows for the development of Beckenham Palace gardeners cottage, stable block and stable yard cottages. Ash Contracting were the main contractor for the work and approached us in October 2018 for our assistance with the project.
The old clock house was destroyed in a suspected arson attack in July 2011. The once derelict building is believed to date back to the 1700’s.
Working to client specification, we supplied hidden balance and cord hung counter balanced sliding sash windows, some with arched heads, and flush casement windows in Engineered Redwood, factory painted in RAL9016 White and glazed with toughened low ‘E’ glass ready for installation on site. PAS24 approved hardware was specified for increased security.
Mathew Cox of Ash contracting commented ‘’We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your skill and hard work in contributing to the successful completion of the refurbishment of the Beckham Place Park project.
The feedback on the final product has been 100% positive and I personally think what has been delivered has been one of the best Ash projects. It is worth noting the original recommendation to the Council was to demolish the buildings, the fact the buildings not only survive but have been significantly improved is a credit to all aspects of the subcontractor, supply and design teams.
Again thank you for your efforts and look forward to working with you on future projects.’’
