Situated in the golden triangle north of Leeds, this stunning home was very cold and drafty in the cooler months and roasting hot inside during summer. Achieving the same historical accuracy of design and balancing the thermal capabilities of the glass was important to the homeowner and we made sure every detail was considered.
The owner chose our concealed spring balance sliding sash windows and a complimentary door design which sits perfectly between the bays. We manufactured the windows and door from Accoya due to the superior stability of this timber which provides a perfect substrate for a long-lasting paint finish.
