Listed Farmhouse Renovation between Ilkley and Leeds

Posted in: - By thatweblook

When expert contemporary design blends perfectly with traditional features.

Having formed a successful partnership with the contractor on several other projects we were glad to be chosen to supply the timber windows and doors for this high-specification renovation project.

This 16th century grade 2 listed farmhouse was originally two structures. The amazing team at Niche Design Architects have combined the two buildings by way of a stunning glazed link.

In the original part of the house our Accoya sliding sash windows sit alongside direct glazed casement windows set within the stone mullions. In the newer extension our High-Performance Flush Casements look timeless, and the two buildings integrate perfectly. The high specification glazing has a slim 8mm argon filled cavity for maximum thermal efficiency.

Our stable door completes the traditional side of the house.

It is a privilege to work with a talented builder and design team to create the client’s dream home.
